More ways to access ‘Remember the Milk’
Remember the Milk (RTM) is a simple online service for keeping track of To-do lists and tasks.
I get a little put off with the idea of having to visit a website to keep track of tasks, and the guys at RTM obviously understand this. So they've created some useful gadgets and extensions for other services to integrate with RTM.
Remember The Milk for Gmail (Gmail gadget)
This provides a simple interface for adding and managing tasks.
In short, you'll have to activate the gadgets-lab feature in Gmail, then use this URL to add the gadget:
http://www.rememberthemilk.com/services/modules/gmail/rtm.xml
Remember The Milk for Gmail (Firefox extension)
This is a Firefox extension that provides features to manage your tasks in Gmail (complete, postpone, and edit tasks) and add new tasks.
Remember The Milk for Google Calendar
Remember The Milk for Google Calendar adds a small task icon to the top of each day in Google Calendar.
Flickr modifies start page – and makes life harder
There used to be a "Recent activity" and "Comments you've made" link, which has since been replaced with a recent activity page which merges the two pages.
Here are 2 solutions.
If you have Firefox, and you prefer having the two separate links:
- Install Greasemonkey. This allows you customise the way a webpage displays using Javascript
- Install the Greasemonkey script (the link directly to the JS file is in the image-description)
Now you should have something like this:

In fact, all this script does for you is create 2 links right next to the Flickr logo with the following links (this will work without Firefox):
For recent activity
For comments you've made
So you could just bookmark those and avoid the Greasemonkey script all together.
